Sustainability in Higher Education Across Canada (SHEAC) is a grassroots organization with representation from across the provinces, and includes staff and faculty from sustainability offices, teaching and learning centres, and Faculties across Canadian colleges and universities — as well as allied colleagues from outside the academy. We meet monthly in plenary to share events coming up, report on events past, explore ways to support one another, and contribute to presentations and discussions related to sustainability and climate action broadly in Canadian higher education. In addition we have a newly emerging Interest group focused on Sustainability Education and Teaching and Learning, with projects related to teaching sustainability and climate action at the postsecondary level.
